Jess joined JV Recruitment in July 2026 as a Recruitment Consultant within the Labour Hire team, based on the Gold Coast.

Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Jess brings a strong understanding of the construction industry, having spent five years working in her family’s construction business before moving to Australia. Since then, she has built several years of recruitment experience and developed a genuine passion for connecting people with the right opportunities.

Jess combines industry knowledge with a personable, relationship-led approach, working closely with both candidates and clients to understand what they need and help create the right match.

Experience

With a background spanning construction and recruitment, Jess brings practical industry insight to her role at JV.

Her early experience working within a construction business gave her first-hand exposure to the people, pace and demands of the industry. She has since spent several years in recruitment, building relationships, supporting candidates through their job search and helping employers secure reliable talent.

Now based on the Gold Coast, Jess is focused on strengthening JV’s Labour Hire relationships across the region, supporting existing clients and candidates while building new connections across the local construction market.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys staying active, focusing on her health and making the most of life on the Gold Coast.
