SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Leading and supervising small teams of labourers on active construction sites
- Liaising with site supervisors and project managers
- Delegating daily tasks and ensuring works are completed to schedule
- Assisting trades with skilled labouring duties when required
- Maintaining high safety standards and enforcing site compliance
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve on site
- $38-$40 per hour + super (depending on experience)
- Additional meal allowance (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional daily travel allowance ($21.94)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing opportunities with potential for permanent contracts
- White Card
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 12 months construction experience
- Previous Leading Hand (highly desirable)
- Strong communication skills
- Own reliable transport (highly desirable)
- Full PPE
