The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded residential home builder with a strong presence across Southeast Queensland. This business is known for delivering high-quality custom homes, with a strong track record across greenfield sites, complex architectural builds, and knock down rebuild projects.
With a solid pipeline of work and continued growth, they are now looking to bring on a Production Estimator to support their construction pipeline and ensure accurate, timely costings across a range of projects.
The Role
As a Production Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, working across a variety of builds from standard custom homes through to more complex and detailed projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing production estimates and costings for residential builds
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and variations across custom and KDR projects
• Working closely with drafting, sales, and construction teams
• Ensuring accuracy across BOQs and take-offs
• Managing supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining build quality
About You
• Previous experience as an Estimator within residential construction
• Exposure to custom homes, knock down rebuilds, or complex projects is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of local building methods, materials, and costings
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience with estimating software such as Databuild, Buildxact, or similar
