With a strong pipeline of work across South East Queensland, we’re looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team. While our main office is based in West End, Brisbane, we also have a Gold Coast office and we’re open to applicants in both locations.
Whether you’re an experienced recruiter or someone looking to kickstart a career in recruitment, this is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be supported by a high-performing team and given the tools to succeed. The Role You’ll play a key role in sourcing, placing, and managing construction labour hire talent across multiple live projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and attracting quality candidates across multiple platforms
- Screening, interviewing, and onboarding workers aligned with JV’s standards
- Building strong, ongoing relationships with candidates to ensure repeat placements
- Writing and posting job ads that are clear, engaging, and accurate
- Working closely with Account Managers, Site Managers, and Project teams to understand workforce needs
- Managing compliance, onboarding, and general recruitment administration
- Providing advice and market insight to both candidates and clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
About You
You’re motivated, reliable, and ready to build a career in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous recruitment experience is highly regarded, but not essential
- Open to entry-level candidates looking to begin a career in recruitment
- You enjoy a fast pace and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and clients
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Motivated to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility
