The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established and highly regarded residential home builder with a strong footprint across Southeast Queensland. Known for delivering high-quality custom homes, this business specialises in greenfield builds, complex architectural homes, and knock down rebuild projects.
Due to ongoing growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to bring on a Sales Estimator to support the front-end of the building process and help convert opportunities into successful projects.
The Role
As a Sales Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the early stages of the client journey, working closely with sales consultants and clients to develop accurate, competitive, and tailored costings.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing detailed sales estimates based on client requirements and concept plans
• Interpreting drawings, inclusions, and specifications for custom homes
• Working closely with sales teams to support client presentations and conversions
• Managing pricing for upgrades, variations, and bespoke requirements
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricing
• Ensuring estimates align with budgets while maintaining quality and margin
About You
• Previous experience as a Sales Estimator within residential construction
• Strong exposure to custom homes, KDR projects, or complex builds
• Ability to interpret plans and understand client requirements
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who can work closely with sales teams and stakeholders
• Experience with estimating software such as Databuild, Buildxact, or similar
