We believe supervisors should have the time to actually supervise. We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a manageable pipeline of up to 10 custom residential builds —all centrally located right here in Hervey Bay.
This is a role focused on quality execution, trade accountability, and client satisfaction from earthworks through to handover.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage a Dedicated Cap: Oversee up to 10 custom homes simultaneously across various stages of construction.
- 100% Local Run: Spend your day on-site and working with trades, not burning hours behind the windshield.
- Trade Coordination & Sourcing: Maintain high standards across our existing trade base and proactively bring reliable local subcontractors on board.
- Program & Delivery: Track timelines tightly, forecast potential bottlenecks, and ensure programs hit handover targets.
- Defect Prevention & QA: Inspect critical stages closely, sign off on structural milestones, and deliver a clean handover.
- Take-Offs & Site Admin: Conduct on-site material take-offs when required, approve orders, and maintain live schedules and site logs in our system.
- Current QBCC Licence: Low-Rise Site Supervisor or Builder license (essential).
- Custom Residential Background: Solid experience managing bespoke or mid-to-high-spec residential construction (not just high-volume production).
- Autonomous Leadership: You know how to command respect on-site, solve technical detailing issues on the fly, and hold trades to account.
- Organised & Tech-Savvy: Comfortable running digital programs, handling emails, and logging site records ( Buildertrend experience is a major bonus).
- Attractive Package:$135,000 – $145,000 base + Super + Vehicle/Tool of Trade Allowance + Company tech.
