As our client continues to grow, they are now seeking a  Building & Pest Inspector  to join their passionate and professional team, servicing Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. 

Role:

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out scheduled building and pest inspections, identifying defects, safety hazards, and compliance issues. You’ll provide detailed reports with practical recommendations, helping to ensure the safety, integrity, and compliance of homes – particularly during real estate transactions, renovations, and routine maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and wants to be part of a supportive, purpose-driven organisation.

Experience Needed:

• Proven experience as a Building & Pest Inspector, Registered/Licensed Builder, or Licensed Pest Technician
• Completion of the following timber pest units:
  
  • CPPUPM3008 –  Inspect for and Report on Timber Pests
  • CPPUPM3010 –  Control Timber Pests
• Physically capable of inspecting sub-floors, roof spaces, and external roofs
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and analytic skills
• Self-motivated, organised and results-driven
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Police check and valid driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle required
