With major new projects launching in North Brisbane (Chermside), Brisbane CBD, and the Gold Coast region, we're providing immediate start opportunities with guaranteed long-term employment security for qualified professionals.
Work Schedule & Flexibility:
Our standard operating hours commence at 6:30 AM, with daily shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours depending on project requirements and weather conditions. This early start time allows our teams to maximize productivity during cooler morning hours and avoid peak traffic congestion. Optional Saturday shifts are sometimes available for those seeking additional earning potential, however weekend work remains entirely voluntary. Our flexible scheduling approach ensures our workforce maintains a healthy work-life balance while consistently meeting critical project milestones.
THE OPPORTUNITY Long-Term Commercial Carpentry Position- 12+ Month Contract This is a secure, long-term carpentry role offering consistent employment on a major commercial development. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to transition onto our permanent workforce with a clear pathway to company employment book. Essential Commercial Carpentry Skills:
- Blueprint Interpretation- Read and execute architectural drawings, structural plans, and technical specifications
- Advanced Formwork- Construct and dismantle concrete formwork systems for commercial applications
- Structural Framing- Timber and steel frame construction for multi-level commercial buildings
- Precision Measuring & Cutting- Work to exact specifications using laser levels, theodolites, and precision tools
- Commercial Fitouts- Installation of partition walls, suspended ceilings, and shopfitting elements
- Safety Compliance- Comprehensive understanding of WorkSafe Queensland regulations and commercial site safety protocols
- Material Knowledge- Experience with engineered lumber, LVL beams, steel connections, and composite materials
- $50.00 per hour+ 11.5% superannuation contribution
- Meal Allowance
- Daily Travel Allowance- $21.95 per day
- Premium Overtime Rates- Time and a half and double-time rates as applicable
