ON OFFER:
- $35-$45 per hour (experience/role dependent) + super
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional Travel allowance ($21.94 per day)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- On-going roles
- Full time contracts on offer!
ROLE DUTIES:
Civil Labourer:
- Assist with site preparation, trenching, and general earthworks
- Support machine operators and trades (e.g. concreters, pipe layers)
- Lay stormwater and sewer pipes, and help with drainage installation
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised job sites
- Install temporary fencing, signage, and safety barriers
- Use basic tools and equipment (shovels, compactors, jackhammers)
Civil Machine Operator:
- Operate a range of civil machinery (e.g. excavator, skid steer, roller, backhoe)
- Perform earthworks including trenching, bulk excavation, and site levelling
- Load and move materials around site safely and efficiently
- Dig trenches for drainage, sewer, and stormwater installations
- Backfill and compact using appropriate equipment
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report machine faults
- Work closely with labourers and supervisors to meet site targets
- Adhere to all WHS and environmental compliance standards
Key requirements needed to apply:
- White Card
- Full Australian work Rights
- Must be able to work well within a team environment
- 12 months civil construction experience is essential
- Background in civil construction
- Full PPE
- Relevant machinery tickets desired but not essential
- Transport is highly desirable
