JV Recruitment are currently seeking experienced General Labourers for roles across the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs. We partner with some of the most reputable builders and remedial contractors in the industry, providing consistent work on commercial, high-end residential, and remedial projects. We are looking for reliable and experienced workers to grow with the company, with potential full-time and ongoing roles available for the right candidates. Being one of the most established agencies in Victoria, we are looking to replicate our success in NSW and you could be a part of it! We can also offer work across three states as we have offices in QLD and VIC, if you sign up in one state you can be transferred to a different state operating under the same processes and offering consistent work.
The Role:
You will be assisting trades and site teams with a variety of labouring duties including:
- General site clean-up and preparation
- Moving materials and site deliveries
- Assisting trades and site supervisors
- Using hand and power tools where required
- Following site safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 12 months experience in construction (Australia or overseas)
- A valid White Card
- Your own PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, steel cap boots)
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
- Additional construction tickets (eg. EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space)
- Own transport
