EHS & Social Procurement Coordinator | Bendigo | 3 Year Project

We’re working with a highly respected commercial contractor on an exciting long-term infrastructure project in Bendigo. With a strong pipeline of work ahead and a collaborative project team already in place, they’re now looking for an EHS & Social Procurement Coordinator to join them on-site.

This is a unique role that blends WHS and Environmental responsibilities with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful social outcomes – making a real difference in both safety culture and community impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing site safety compliance and systems using Hammertech
• Leading safety walks, toolbox talks, incident investigations and training coordination
• Monitoring environmental management plans and supporting audits
• Ensuring subcontractor WHS compliance and improvement
• Delivering on social procurement objectives, including diversity, gender equality, and local employment
• Liaising with stakeholders to ensure contractual social commitments are met
• Providing regular reporting and updates to the Project Manager and client

• Experience in WHS / EHS roles on commercial or infrastructure projects
• Experience with Hammertech software 
• A passion for building strong safety cultures and engaging with subcontractors
• Some exposure to social procurement or inclusion initiatives (or a genuine interest in this space)
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and stakeholder-focused
• Someone organised, proactive and positive – who can manage competing priorities with ease

• Salary: $100K–$110K+  (open to more for experienced candidates)
