About the Company:
Our client is a growing fitout and refurbishment specialist delivering projects for well-known retail and housing clients. Operating nationally across the facility management and fitout sector, they focus on quality, timely, and cost-effective project delivery. Projects typically range from $400k–$1m, and the business operates with a small, dynamic team of 10 direct employees alongside a wider subcontractor workforce. The Role:
The Estimator will support a mix of retail fitouts (including supermarkets, Click & Collect builds, and external awnings) and residential/commercial projects. Multiple projects may be managed concurrently. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates, cost plans, and take-offs, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and attending site visits as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience estimating small-to-medium retail or commercial fitout projects for a main contractor ($400k–$1m).
- Exposure to supermarket fitouts highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptable, and able to work in a structured but flexible environment.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore, CostX, or similar.
- Team player with a practical, hands-on approach.
