About the Role
Our client, a well-regarded name in the logistics and warehousing sector, is seeking an experienced Storeperson
to join their team based in Sunshine. This is a long-term ongoing opportunity
offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for key warehouse functions including pick-packing, pallet racking, truck loading, and outbound logistics coordination. This role suits someone with strong operational skills and a solid understanding of safe and efficient freight handling.
Duties
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Stock control and pallet racking
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Booking trucks for dispatch
- Ensuring proper weight distribution and spatial awareness when loading
- General housekeeping and adhering to OH&S procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar warehouse or storeperson role
- Proficiency in pick-packing and pallet racking
- Experience loading trucks safely and efficiently
- Ability to book and coordinate trucks
- Sound understanding of weight distribution and dimensions
- A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
- Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
