HOIST OPERATORS WANTED
Inner City Brisbane | Immediate Start | Ongoing Work
We’re hiring an experienced Hoist Operator
for long-term work on major commercial construction sites across Brisbane’s inner-city suburbs, including Newstead, Chermside, and St Lucia.
This role offers:
- Ongoing work Monday to Friday
- 6:30 AM starts with 8–10 hour days
- The opportunity to transition into full-time employment for the right candidate
Key Requirements
- Current Hoist Operator Ticket
- White Card
- Minimum 12 months' experience operating hoists on commercial construction sites
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
- Reliable transport and full PPE
- Operating the site hoist for materials and personnel
- Following all site safety procedures
- Assisting with general labouring duties when required
- Material handling and occasional use of power tools
- Supporting trades and site supervisors
- $38–$42 per hour + 12% super (depending on experience)
- Daily travel allowance ($21.94)
- Meal allowance (after 9.5-hour shifts)
- Overtime paid at penalty rates (Time and a Half / Double Time)
- Weekly pay – reliable and on time
- Ongoing work on large, well-run commercial projects
- Backing from a labour hire team that supports you from start to finish
- White Card
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 12 months construction experience
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable transport and full PPE
