JV work alongside some of Melbourne's largest commercial builders and we have seen an influx of Commercial Hoist Operator roles. Applicants should view this role as an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-known commercial builder.
The Hoist Operator will be expected to assist with labouring duties as part of their role. Please make sure you know before applying that the role isn’t solely a Commercial Hoist Operator role.
ROLE DUTIES
- Hoist Operating
- Assisting trades (e.g. carpenters, scaffolders etc)
- Basic site cleans
- Moving materials
- Assisting with deliveries
- Minimum 12 months construction site experience
- Must have a white card
- Must have work rights in Australia
- A good attitude and solid work ethic
- Own transport desirable but not essential
- A forklift ticket is advantageous but not essential
- $38-$40 per hour + Daily Travel ($21.94) + super + coinvest
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- On-going role
