THE CLIENT
Our client, a reputable construction company based in inner Melbourne, is seeking a Junior Estimator
to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of industrial and commercial projects, they are looking for someone who is eager to develop their estimating skills in a stable and supportive environment.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you will assist with:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Performing take-offs and quantity measurements
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to source pricing
- Reviewing and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings
- Maintaining cost databases and assisting with project reporting
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Background in Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering or Industrial Construction is a MUST
- 2–3 years of estimating experience within the construction industry
- Proficiency with Bluebeam software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Salary of around $100K + Super
