We are seeking construction professionals to join a client of ours within their remedial team as a Leading Hand.
Projects based in: Eastern Suburbs & Sydney City - surrounding areas may come into play with future projects.
About the Role:
We're partnering with a leading construction companies known for their commitment to quality and innovation. These opportunities provide valuable experience in remedial projects, offering insight into the challenges of problem-solving to restore buildings to their optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive daily site activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to exceptional standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to WHS regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams during all project phases, from pre-construction to handover.
- Proactively monitor project progress, budgets, and quality control, identifying and addressing any potential challenges.
- Mentor and support team members, contributing to a positive and productive site culture.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Leading Hand on commercial projects.
- Previous experience on apartments projects is most desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- A consistent track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
