Precast Supervisor | Kilmore

THE CLIENT

We’re working with our client, a leading precast concrete manufacturer based in Kilmore, to find an experienced Precast Supervisor to join their growing team. If you’re a confident leader with solid precast knowledge and a knack for getting the best out of people, this one’s for you.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Precast Manager and working alongside two other Supervisors, you'll lead a crew of 6–15 team members including labourers, crane operators, and QA staff. Your focus will be on managing daily production, while also potentially getting involved in scheduling and logistics if that suits your skill set. The ideal person will have experience with: 

• Lead, supervise and motivate a team of labourers, crane operators, and QA staff to meet daily production targets
• Conduct daily toolbox and pre-start meetings to communicate priorities and safety messages
• Coordinate production activities in line with project schedules and quality standards
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and site policies
• Identify training needs and support the development of less-experienced team members
• Communicate effectively with the Precast Manager and other Supervisors to manage resources and resolve issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure finished products meet required specifications
• Oversee general housekeeping and site cleanliness to maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Provide input into equipment and material requirements for smooth day-to-day operations

• Experience in the Precast is essential 
• At least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• White Card (other tickets a bonus)
• Basic computer skills (no specific software required)
• Familiarity with forklift and crane operations not necessary but will be viewed favourably 

• Attractive salary between $140,000- 170,000 + super
