Project Manager – Healthcare & Education Construction Projects
Location: Brisbane, Queensland (projects across South East Queensland)
Position: Full-time, On-site / Hybrid as required
Reports to: Regional Operations Manager or Construction Director

You will lead the delivery of complex healthcare and educational construction projects across South East Queensland, with a primary focus on Brisbane. From expanding state-of-the-art hospital facilities to constructing dynamic educational campuses, you’ll steer projects crucial to the region’s social infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, timeline, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with clients such as Queensland Health, Department of Education, architects, consultants, and local authorities.
  • Operational Delivery: Manage procurement, subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and overall site execution—particularly in sensitive live environments like operating hospitals or functioning school campuses.
  • Risk & Quality Management: Ensure rigorous safety protocols, quality control, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations across healthcare and education builds.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders and prepare accurate project reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation, process enhancements, and lessons-learned documentation for future project excellence.
About You
  • Experience:  3+ years as a Project Manager in construction, with a strong portfolio of healthcare (hospitals, emergency/mental health facilities) and education (schools, universities) projects—preferably in SEQ or Brisbane.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of complex construction methods in live environment settings.
  • Leadership & Diplomacy: Skilled in managing multi-disciplinary teams and interfacing with diverse stakeholders, including client representatives and regulatory bodies.
  • Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, organisational precision, problem-solving, and adaptability to fast-paced, evolving project conditions.
