PROJECT MANAGER – MAJOR WATER INFRASTRUCTURE | $220K + SUPER + 6 WEEKS LEAVE | FIFO/DIDO OPTIONS | ACCOM INCLUDED
THE CLIENT
Our client, a highly regarded contractor specialising in water and environmental infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the a Water Reclamation Plant Solids Handling Upgrade Project. This is a landmark community-focused development, and the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of delivery—from design through to commissioning and final handover.
THE ROLE
- Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end project delivery in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements
- Implementing project-specific HSE systems and driving a strong safety culture
- Managing cost control, procurement, and subcontractor performance
- Coordinating design, construction, commissioning, and client handover
- Maintaining accurate program timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Building strong relationships with Coliban Water, local authorities, and project partners
- Ensuring compliance with the Local Industry Development Plan and relevant IR policies
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing site team
- 15+ years of experience in successfully delivering major infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing water, wastewater, or process-related projects valued at $20M+
- Familiarity with Victorian Water Authority Major Works or AS4300-1995 Head Contract conditions
- Strong leadership, planning, safety, and commercial management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment to sustainability, safety, and community impact
- Salary up to $200K range + Super
- 6 weeks annual leave+ travel allowance support
