We are working with a number of well-known and highly respected remedial main contractors operating across Sydney. With strong project pipelines and continued growth, they are looking to bring on experienced Estimators to support their pre-construction teams.
These businesses specialise in complex remedial works across residential, commercial, and strata sectors, delivering high-quality outcomes across the Sydney metro area.
About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a wide range of remedial construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, and a trusted network of subcontractors to ensure pricing reflects real-world site conditions and methodologies.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as an Estimator within remedial construction (essential)
- Experience working for a remedial contractor (subcontractor or main contractor)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Concrete repair systems
- Waterproofing
- Façade and structural remediation
- Established network of subcontractors and trades within Sydney
- Proficient in CostX, Cubit, Databuild or similar estimating software
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full Australian working rights

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Identify project risks, build methodologies, and cost-saving opportunities
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trades and subcontractors
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and achievable project delivery
- Maintain estimating databases, rates, and historical cost data
