About the Opportunity
A well-established commercial builder in Ballarat is seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join their growing team. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations on a range of commercial projects, ensuring delivery to program, safety, and quality standards. Projects span $200k to $7M, including commercial new builds, refurbishments, and specialised facilities. This role offers stability, long-term growth and the opportunity to be part of a supportive construction team in the Ballarat region.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site operations and ensure the project program is met
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and site sequencing
- Lead toolbox meetings, run site inductions, and manage WHS compliance
- Conduct regular safety and quality inspections
- Interpret drawings, plans and specifications
- Maintain accurate site diaries, reporting and progress documentation
- Work collaboratively with the Project Manager and internal team
- Manage defects and ensure workmanship meets required standards
- Carpentry qualification strongly preferred
- Commercial experience ideal, but open to strong candidates from residential backgrounds
- 3–5 years’ experience in construction
- Strong communication and subcontractor management skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to maintain a safe and productive site
- Solid understanding of WHS practices and ability to lead site safety
- First Aid Certificate
- Construction White Card
- Certificate III in WHS (preferred but not essential)
- $90,000–$130,000 (inclusive of super)
- Flexibility to consider higher salaries for exceptional candidates
- Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm
- Exposure to a wide range of commercial projects up to $7M
