JV Recruitment are on the lookout for a experienced roofers and working at heights ticketed labourers for major commercial projects in Moorooka, Redbank plains, Wynnum, Morningside
and surrounding suburbs. The builder has an excellent reputation and a history spanning over 20 years, In this time, they have gained a fantastic reputation for their quality, workmanship and work life balance. The project they are seeking support on is roughly 6-9 months from completion. These roles involve assisting roofing crews, performing general labouring tasks, and ensuring safety protocols are upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with roofing installations and repairs
- Repair and replace flashings, box gutters, fixings etc. to prevent leaks
- Apply membranes to prevent water penetrations
- Perform general labouring duties on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects
- Valid Working at Heights ticket
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Minimun of 12 months experience in roofing
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Reliable transport highly desirable
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- $40 -$50 per hour + super
- $21.94 additional Daily Travel allowance
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime - daily!
